YGT Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary

The York Glaziers Trust is celebrating its 50th anniversary, having been established on the 20th July, 1967. To coincide with the Trust's anniversary, a revised edition of Sarah Brown's Stained Glass in York Minster has been published by Scala in association with the Dean and Chapter of York Minster. All of the Trust's conservation records, from 1967-2007, have also been fully digitised. The original hard copies of these records have been made publicly accessible at the Borthwick Institute for Archives. Events culminated in a special Evensong in York Minster, and a dinner in the chapter house, attended by staff and trustees, as well as members of the Minster and invited guests from the stained glass community.
