The York Glaziers Trust was recently commissioned to create two large windows for Queen Margaret's School in Escrick, North Yorkshire; one of the UK's top independent boarding schools. The windows were commissioned to mark the centenary of the Old Margaretian Association (OMA), the alumni association for leavers of the school. The glass was cartooned by senior conservator and artist Rachel Thomas ACR, and represents themes significant to the school. One window depicts St Margaret silhouetted against golden rays and surrounded by flowers; the other features the symbol of the cross and commemorates the OMA. The windows were installed by the Trust in June 2013.
