YGT's expert glass-painter Janet Parkin has designed and made a stunning new window for a Grade I listed church in Acaster Malbis, North Yorkshire. The three light south nave window at Holy Trinity Church shows an array of woodland creatures and has been created in memory of cherished former parishioner Carol Woollcombe (1925-2005). Parishioners and members of the family, supported by the PCC, worked closely with the YGT in creating this lasting monument. The window's design reflects Carol's love of the local Yorkshire countryside and the creatures she describes in her writing, using the theme of the Benedicite, whose words are found at the bottom of the window.
